Project Overview: The objective of this project was to design and implement an advanced Voice-to-Text (V2T) voicemail system for Rogers Communications, Canada’s largest wireless telecom operator. The solution aimed to transform voice messages into text messages seamlessly, leveraging Azure AI Speech Services and cloud-native technologies to enhance voicemail transcription services for users.

• Successfully developed and deployed a robust and scalable voice-to-text solution using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Reduced migration efforts by ensuring seamless integration with existing systems through the emulation of the legacy V2T API.

Alo to stabilize and streamline the code flow, design and implement effective branching strategies in GitLab, ensuring proper version control and minimizing integration issues.

My focus was on implementing DevOps best practices, automating infrastructure provisioning, and streamlining the application deployment process to enhance productivity and improve the overall performance of the product.

• Automated CI/CD pipelines for .NET and C++ applications across both Linux and Windows platforms, streamlining the application lifecycle.
• Optimized infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Ansible, Packer, and Terraform, ensuring efficient and scalable cloud environments.
• Reduced costs by utilizing Azure VMSS and Golden Images, optimizing resource allocation.

Proof of Concept (PoC): Shell Middle Distillate Synthesis Process (Real-time Gas Emissions Monitoring System)

PoC Objective: This Proof of Concept (PoC) aims to demonstrate the potential of modernizing and digitalizing the existing gas emissions monitoring system used in Shell’s Middle Distillate Synthesis process. The goal of the PoC is to replace legacy physical systems and hardware with a scalable, efficient, and real-time cloud-based infrastructure. This will validate the use of Azure cloud services for seamless data acquisition, monitoring, and reporting of gas emissions, showcasing improvements in system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.

PoC Benefits:

• Validation of Cloud-Based Infrastructure: The PoC will validate the effectiveness of moving from physical systems to a cloud-based solution using Azure services, including MySQL, ADF, and Virtual Machines.
• Operational Efficiency: By automating the data transfer process and leveraging real-time data streaming, the PoC will demonstrate significant improvements in operational efficiency and data management.

My responsibilities were focused on enhancing the platform's CI/CD pipelines, streamlining version control processes, and improving deployment efficiency.
